The Royal Netherlands Air Force is one of the first users. The RNeth. AF 323 Squadron celebrated its 70th birthday by painting Diana, ‘Goddess of the Hunt’ (symbol of the squadron), on the F35’s vertical fins. The squadron also painted silhouettes of all the aircraft that the unit flew on the rudder. Such beautiful works of art on the vertical fin are rare to see on gray stealth aircraft.
